Do you qualify for free NHS treatment?

As an NHS Contractor we can provide you with a Free NHS Sight Test if you:

• Over 60
• Under 16
• Under 19 in full time education
• Over 40 with a first degree relative with glaucoma
• Diagnosed as having diabetes or glaucoma
• Advised by an ophthalmologist that you are at greater risk of glaucoma
• Registered partially sighted or blind
• Have a complex prescription

You will receive NHS help towards the cost of your glasses if you or your partner is receiving:

• Income support or income based jobseekers allowance
• Working tax credit
• Child tax credits
• Named on a certificate for full help with health costs, an HC2
• Named on a certificate for partial help with health costs, an HC3, you may get some help or have been prescribed complex lenses
