After one of the hottest Junes on record we all realise that sunglasses are an essential item.
Ray Bans were developed for pilots in 1937 and now they are well established as a fashion icon. Ray Ban’s are now relentless in their innovation and always manage to pull something exciting out of the bag!
This year Ray-Ban’s new Reverse collection has debuted and is the next step for its four most iconic designs, Aviator, Wayfarer, Caravan and Boyfriend.
The shape of the lenses shift from traditional convex to concave, while maintaining unparalleled optical precision. They have an antiglare treatment and the pantoscopic lens is specially designed to reduce reflections by 70% . The disruptive design enhances astigmatic, prismatic and resolving powers to their fullest potential.
The Reverse range is made from eco-conscious materials, including bio-based nylon lenses with 41% bio-based carbon content, along with bio-based acetate frames boasting 67% bio-based carbon content. The collection is also packaged using 100% recycled materials, including the cleaning cloth.
The Ray Ban Reverse range is a unisex collection which gracefully follow the contours of the cheekbone, ensuring a perfect fit that complements every face shape.
Federico Buffa, the product style licensing director says
“Our Ray-Ban Reverse collection is a true revolution in the eyewear industry The concave aesthetic is enabled by a new proprietary technology which applies big data analysis into the lens design. We always raise the bar by reinventing what eye care and eyewear can do for consumers”
They are all in stock now at Bromley Cross Opticians so why not be ahead of the curve!
